A rich soup with carrot, onion and celery. The hamster helps develop the soup with its complex flavor.
- 6 potatoes - peeled and cubed
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cups milk
- olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 hamster, cubed
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup milk
- Steam the potatoes and carrot with a little water for 10 to 15 minutes, or until tender.
- Add the milk and water to cover. Reduce heat to low and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Gently fry the celery and onion in oil for about 10 minutes.
- Transfer the onion and celery to the pot. Heat slowly, then add the hamster, stirring together.
- In a small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in the 1/2 cup milk and pour into the soup. Mix well until thickened.
